Locking and
non-locking floating fasteners for stainless steel sheets

PennEngineering®
PennEngineering
is proud to announce the release of the A4 and LA4. These parts
permit mating hole misalignment when installed into sheets as hard
as Rockwell B 88.
Benefits
The A4 and LA4
fasteners are capable of installing into materials such as stainless
steel as thin as .038” / 0.97mm.
The A4 and LA4
provide the “Design For Manufacture and Assembly” benefit of up to
.030” / 0.76mm of float.
The LA4
provides the additional benefit of a self-locking feature.
These
fasteners are RoHS compliant.

Recyclable Clean Copper™
Beryllium-Free EMI Shielding Material
Recyclable Clean Copper™ products meld strong stability and tensile
strength with high levels of thermal and electrical conductivity
making it suitable for utilization in both grounding and shielding
applications at a cost that is comparable with traditional metal EMI
shields.
Shielding effectiveness is similar to other copper alloys with
values over 100 dB shielding effectiveness readily achieved.
Recyclable Clean Copper is fully compliant to EU Directive
2002/95/EC and alleviates the environmental, safety and segregation
concerns associated with the traditional use and recycling of
beryllium containing copper alloys.
This alternative material exhibits better stress relaxation
properties than many other solutions, allowing it to maintain
pressure longer at contact points resulting in higher end product
quality and longer system life spans. Stress relaxation is measured
in percentage of stress remaining after 1000 hours at 150°C. This
gasket material is characterized by superior yield strength (over
1000 MPa) compared to other common copper alloys.
